Our ambition is to have a proactively impact on the environment, contribute in resolving the climate issue and to create sustainable value for people using our products.

The sun is a powerful source of energy. The sun rays that hits the earth during 10 minutes carries the amount of energy that the world consumes in a year. We only need to gather a small part to meet our need for heating, hot water and cooling. It also makes it possible to radically reduce the green house gazes and to reduce the CO2 level. Heating and cooling consumes around 50% of our energy consumption. Solar thermal energy is a natural choice with minimal impact on the environment.

S-Solar – Environment
 

The usage of solar energy is one of the cleanest and environmental friendly forms of energy production there is. It is therefore self evident that S-Solar’s production of components and solar collectors is to be as environmental friendly as possible. It is also important that our products consist of material that can be re-cycled and renewable as much as possible.

The materials in our solar collector strips and laser plate absorbers are renewable, and the production process is both resource efficient and environmental friendly.

All production is carried out in Sunstrip, the subsidiary of S-Solar, according to a system for environment management, ISO 14001 certified since 2002.
