Worldleading technology

S-Solar has, through its subsidiary Sunstrip and in cooperation with leading universities within the area - the Ångströms Laboratory in Uppsala, developed a leading thin film technology that can maximize the use of solar energy for heating.

Our performance shows 96-98% in absorption capability which is very close to the theoretically limit of performance.

Our absorbers and heat exchangers, used by us and other leading solar energy companies and construction companies around the world, all use a selective, high performance and durable thin film surface. The surface must be able to work in different climate zones, weather conditions and resist impact from external forces showing long term durability. S-Solar’s absorbers show a superior performance during tests by independent test institutions and are with the certified Solar Keymark certification in all markets. The absorbers that are used in solar thermal collectors can be likened to the engine in a car.

To be able to respond to customer expectations of high quality products with high performance, that are easily installed, we have decided to develop the next generation of products. Also from a competitive point of view it is important that these new products should be pre-fabricated, complete solutions that are easily integrated and installed by distributors and installers. This will lead to faster growth and improved time-to-market.
